i had a good ole chat with glen yesterday at daggers(top bloke) about the piss poor attendance in old school this year
I kinda feel sorry for glen, magoo and kev as they always still battle hard with each other and all 3 are exceptionaly good racers and i'm glad they weren't riding old school in 2007
I know people have commitments in life but 229 people still managed to race yesterday at daggers south regional and more than half were over the age of 25 so why can't more people with old school bikes attend and race?i'm not trying to be funny i'm just curious
like i said to glen and mike etc yesterday there are thousands of old skoolers on here from the south with lovely bikes just collecting dust
the sport is only as dangerous as you want it to be. fck even JP MULISHA bit the bullet and did his first ever race meeting at the age of 39
jumped straight into 30-39 cruisers at daggers regional and had a blinding day,
I get inspiration from people like HUMPS alan who at 57 (i think) is getting up on the gate every weekend in south meetings and southwest on his dialled and having a massive smile on his face
