Old School Grands at Preston on the 10th May (North Region BMX Summer Series Round 3)

Preston Pirates are organising an Old School Showcase.  Huge US style trophies are on offer to anyone who makes the A Final plus a Cash purse of at least £100 for the top 3 riders (hopefully more).   Also there will be a Show and Shine held in a secure area Trackside with Trophies and prizes for Best Race Bike and Best in Show.

Everyone is welcome and I hope the Scots, Midlanders and Southerners can make the trip.   

The track is very Old School Friendy.  So if you fancy a dabble after 20 years of self abuse and inactivity then this is the track to start racing on again.

Old School Rules apply :-  20" or 24" BMX with 1" Threaded headset and Forks and Caliper mounted brake.

Hi Moley, just a shame this clashes with a South Region Summer series date or I know me & crooch would have been well up for the trip.

You boys up there in the North are really keeping the OS racing scene alive and kicking, good work lads, and us southern softies will defo have to make a road trip during the summer

its a real shame Ian, but i know that Paul needs to race this otherwise he cant qualify for the Brits and i would be there if it was anywhere else other than Daggers.

Errr, cough: As judge for tomorrow's show and shine, I feel I should forewarn y'all that I am a pretty proficient in all thing oldschool (bikes and parts) and will be ruthless with my points scoring for any mid school parts or copy bars (he hee)...

Bonus points can be earned if:
1.  Duraglit or Autosol can be smelt...
2.  Your comp III's still have life in them and the gum wall is super clean...
3.  You have original coloured tyres
4.  You use a Suntour power lock...
5.  Yours bars aren't past vert poistion...
6.  Your stem is an XXL... (55mm plus)
7.  You have some rare Ame' grips...
8.  You walk around in Max gators or Oakley braces...
9.  Extra tall bars (GT 10" for an extra point).
10.You have a hot Bikini clad milf presenting the bike...
