Here are a few quick shots of my 1986 GT Team Series survivor, i just cleaned it up.

Anything is stock from 86.... i just added some pads.

Now i am just waiting for the sun to make better pics, then i will add it to the bmx museum and store it in the loft with the green master.

Nice, be good to get some better pictures in daylight.
Theres just something about that period of GT, kinda lost their way over the years.

i had one of these that i actually got in xmas 85, but im pretty sure the mach one had arrived by then.

it had a slightly different spec tho, i got the mallet stem, gt seatclamp, gt power disc, viscount seat, tech 4 lever/mx 1000 rear brake, gt laidback, epoch headset. can't remember what pedals tho, but not those ones you have for sure. exact same colour scheme as mine tho!

As you see alot of SR parts on it, crank, Pedals, stem, seatpost clamp and hubs. Both hubs stamped 84, on the Ariake GT Seat i found no year.
Front Tire is 2.0 , rear is 1.75. DC 890 is stamped 84 too.

Serial: I see a G6 so i thought its a 86....    guess the complete is G684809

Maybe a June 84 Frame number 809 ? On bmx museum the GT serial data sheet say the number behind the G is the year.... who knows?

no plans to sell this sweety  ;)

i startet a thread at bmx museum as well, and i is a 86 f/f who looks like a 84....

G numbers on bb are jap made frames, and they started 85.
Second thing is the fork, its a 85/86 with holes.

Crazy, GT sold 86 a bike with 84 specs  :idiot2:

Edit: pics from outside in the museum now ( http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/gt_bicycles/25941 )

Interesting bike, ive got some GT forks with the same stamp as on the rear dropouts of your frame.
Except no drilled or stamped holes in them, not too sure of the year of these.
