Anyone got some pictures of jumps
« on: April 24, 2009, 01:06 PM »
Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has any pictures of the following from the side to show the profile:

Rollers / Pump bumps

Doubles

Steps ups

Tables

Its to show a contractor who is remodelling a track the shape he should be trying to get and I want to make sure he makes the final result is something that will be rideable.

Cheers in advance.

That's what i thought. There's a new member on here (Jackyeah?) who was pretty much solely responsible for the latest refurb of Grove.  :coolsmiley:

From what I have seen contractors will never get it right!, from berms been lined up wrong, to lifts and landing been made too long with no real curve.  Best thing to do is get them the basicly put the dirt in position and let some riders who build trails make the lips and smooth the rollers, its the only way to get it right trust me.

Re contractors - try and get ones that ride.

Clark and Kent did Crewe and they didn't cost stupid money either.

We're on the verge of getting the contractor to put the dirt in the right place and get a trail builder in to finish it off. Money is the issue although we're looking at much less than a grand including hiring a digger.
