BOB FIELD GRANDS AT CREWE
« on: April 22, 2009, 06:32 PM »
The event is on Sat/Sun 1st & 2nd August at Tipkinder Park, Crewe.
Info on the event is on www.bobfieldgrands.blogspot.com

We have an Old Skool category & it would be great to have some involvment from Rad either with the organisation of the Old Skool class, trophy sponsorship, etc? If this would be of interest then let me know.

Some more updates have also been added to the blogsite.

Final categories are on including cruisers.

Bookings are also being taken for traders & reserved team area.

Online registration will hopefully go live early May.

Any questions then get in touch.

Cheers Gav.

Get in.  Can't wait for this event.

Oooo - a RAD link up for the old school class - sounds like a good idea to me.

This one will be fine Dubs.

It's a big event that's been in the diary and known about for ages.  All classes.  2 days of delight on the Radest track in the UK.

Check out the blogspot to see the full extent of the event.

Given how cool the OS races were at Crewe last week it would be mega if something equally as special could happen again.

 :) :) :)

Yeah a little. Don't think I can commit the time to get myself to most of the meets this year. Was planning on going down to Crewe a couple of times a week though and getting better, then doing them all next year.

If I can keep doing Crewe a few times a week and get good enough to keep up with Moley when August comes I'll be a happy man.   :LolLolLolLol:

Got any tips for setting my bike up better? I had a go on some kids new school and it felt a lot more stable. It was the same length as my GT but the bars were a lot lower. Are my massive bars making mine feel sketchy or is it just genral geometry and rider error?

We'll try and boost your numbers a bit!!

Crewe was a great blast!!!  :daumenhoch:

Howay Gav - get it scanned!!

On a serious note boys - the old school race at Crewe can be as big as you want it to be.  It went down really well last week and given Jamie's big push at Preston and the BCF backing this could be a big race.

Had a fantastic time, getting on the cruiser again yesterday was a bit weird...

my head says carry on with the cruiser as ill get better but my heart is with OS..

ive got a massive investment on the cruiser so ill carry on with that but cant wait for preston.

unfortunately i cant make another trip to crewe this year as id get shot.
