Hawk XXL build
« on: April 22, 2009, 12:27 PM »
Well this is my 3rd build this month, why do we do this to ourselves  :LolLolLolLol:

I have had this build on the go for a while now, I have been trying to find the right parts for it.  Now after numerous pm's to Steve (Generallee) about correct parts I have finally finished it... Thanks for the help Steve  :daumenhoch:  :4_17_5:

I have always loved the Hawk frame and when I had the opportunity to pick up this XXL (22" top tube) I jumped at it.

The colour is courtesy of Superbikedan (as always an amazing job), I just love the candy red and it is the same colour as my Curtis Pro.

The forks are an early set of Answers and really set the frame off.  Technique 181mm cranks, Araya Super7x rims with Six Shooter hubs wrapped in Primo V-Track tyres (thick and thin size).

Full parts run down below.

Here you go boys, mid school lovelyness.
