what kind of grips were being used around 93 to 95?

i remember having a set of ati pistol petes which were quite hard if i remember correctly

also i had a set of odi mushroom 2's they were a hard plastic shell with the soft grip part on the top which when got wet gave u throttle grip yet the hard plastic stayed still :2funny: :2funny:

need a set of mid school grips for my 93 holmes build

cheers kev

Odi Longnecks, or Roughnecks.  Aimes were still being used then.  I've only ever run Longnecks myself since 94 - still use em now.

My memory is letting me down at the mo, I'm struggling to remember owt else   :-[

Odi Longnecks, or Roughnecks.

In the early 90s I used Oakley O-wings cos I could get them for 99p a pair ()
Then I changed to roughnecks, and stuck with them for about 10 years.

odyssey power paws (  they were great but used to brake up really easily would leave your hands covered in black rubber  )

odi longnecks were the best grips i had around that time, with a set of donuts on them for extra padding lol

Yep, hotwheels for the O-wings. Pink, white, black, turquoise, I had them all. 2 days to wear in ... 2 days to wear OUT!
Oh, and you got your gold or blue DX from cyclesport for £5.
Dem were da days  ;)
