yeah, so a bit of a hiccup in life over the last couple of weeks. i was ill for a few days but troopered through it and carried on with work and daily business, but on the saturday eve i made a move for the bedroom but collapsed on the landing, woke up with me mum kneeling next to me. so trying to get up i collapsed again and for a time stopped breathing, eventually coming round an ambulance was called who after a couple of morphine shots for some pain from muscle spasm's i was rushed off to hospital. i was took for a chest x ray so they could check out my heart but passed out again and woke up in resus with a load of needles in me and hooked up to monitors. i was moved to cardiology for 24 hours and then later released to a general ward where i spent several days dropping in and out of sleep, i lost 1/2 stone in weight in 4 days which was all muscle mass as i have no fat, so then spent 36 hours on a drip trying to gain some strength. i've been released from hospital now for a week and spent most of it resting and over the last couple of days a few walks to start building my fitness back up. the sun bathing has been great and am now looking a lot healthier although still slightly thinner, a good session on the bmx should sort that out though, hopefully back on that at the weekend for a little ride at the local ramp.

got a double whammy of flu and tonsillitis at the same time, but i carried on going to work and battling with it as i couldn't really afford to be off, the collapse was basically my body telling me to 'fook off i've had enough' kind of thing, they call it 'hitting the wall' in sports science. literally took me to the edge of death and has definately given me an eye opener on life.

I had a moment a few years back , caught a form of bacteria & was in isolation for nearly a week

.

Freaked all the nurses out totally , all these temp readings etc they were getting they said I should've been unconscious

( had 4 different drips , was buzzin' ! ) .
