Another Skyway T/A
« on: April 15, 2009, 09:23 PM »
After seeing dannywhiteley's T/A i decided to go take some pics of mine  ::) as i was/am a lazy cnut  ;D
It won't be entered into any bike of the month as they already get a regular turnout  ;)
Its an all original chrome and decals 84 that i got a few months back of JJ (baldbmxer) that i have added survivor parts to,i think its turned out ok but thats just me  :-X

I think the XL's had the words XL on the decals where as this don't.
The top tube is 19" from memory  ;)

Think the xl decals had "skyway ta" rather than just "skyway"... I'm not 100% mind..

Not sure how many xls are knocking about these days.. Good skills if it is  :daumenhoch:

Never noticed the small extra long writing in the red before.. I've just got the plain "skyway" on my down tube.. :'(

Learn something new everyday so they say.. Cheers

Common as muck these TA's... :LolLolLolLol:

Lovely one that is, I was on the lookout for a DX seat post but couldnt stretch to one.   Nice to see original decals too, I take it yours is a straight bridge US model?  The SKYWAY TA decals seem to crop up on the later US ones.  I actually prefer them to the straight SKYWAY ones but couldnt use them on mine being a Jap model.

Chrome TA's with black tuffs  :smitten:

BTW, if you look at mine (shameless plug) in the other thread you can see on my plate ive got an XL decal across the bottom.  Had a spare pair knocking around so decided to butcher it for my number plate. ;)
