someone else would need to clarify this, but those decals look later 80's early 90's?

the frameset looks early 80's to me?

as an official non-expert in GT, I'd say the Pro Series were introduced in 86... if my memory serves me right

The frame is an 84 (Serial 3840310). Have looked at loads of bikes to try and date the deacls and I can't find any the same.

I thought they were 87ish but they look nothing like them, Have been through the whole lot on BMXmuseum and cant find anything the same.

They are like 84 Performer decals but obviously say "Pro Series"

anyone any ideas?

Have you seen any deacls the same? all the 86 "Pro Series" ones I have seen are different.

Matt them decals are 85 mate, check out the adverts for it in tech and resto 85, if its a late 84 i think they could be correct, Handsome Pete may be able to offer more on this.

...that is nice BigDog - I had a chrome one BITD like yours, then a blue one with those decals. I think the '85 model had the three holes in the dropout & the '86 four.
Until I find one for a project I'll have to be happy with this:
