N.S Advice please.
« on: April 09, 2009, 07:40 PM »
Hi,I am a old schooler at heart ,love park riding ,but i dont think my ELF racing bike is up to it .
for starters the brake is s**t.
but i do like light bikes, cant get it with heavy bikes.

so the help i  need is,what N.S bike can i get for around £250-£300 ,thats light and will suit a
10 stone, 5 foot 8",40 year old who can still ride the ramps but in an O.S style.

many thanks Russ. :daumenhoch:

If you can up that amount to £350, i can build ya a nice new school bike consisting of
Fly 3amigo.s 20.6TT frame
wethepeople Excalibor forks, 10mm
Chrome DK race bars 28x8
DK Race stem, black, toploader
Profile chrome cranks, bit battered and lil loose splines, but still run fine
28t Brand new Mankind 28t respect sprocket
Pivotal seat and post
Proper wheelset with brand new rear Magnalite3, RHD, 10T
Brake will be extra, but have a Odyssey evo2, and medium lever.
Bike has raw and polished frame and forks, chrome bars and the rest of the parts are multicoloured, looks ace and trails looking.
Pm me if interested.

You should be able to get a complete around 27/28 lbs for that money, then over time you can change components to bring it down to 25 lbs simply changing stock tyres for a set of khe kevlar tyres makes a big difference in weight.
