Took the Rebel out for a spin today

Rides lovely and smooth, but didnt take it too far as dont want to ruin these 2nd gen Comp III's.  Looks beautiful in the sunshine with the white/red/gold and black scheme.

Just need a LH black tech 4 (already got the front white cable and black MX1000)... and a cheapo pair of copy comp III's...

By the way, them XC-II's were sticking, and have really cleaned up nice with a quick spot on paint on the cages (they will be black when I can get a tin of satin black).

Hi Danny,

I've got a black LH Tech 4 in good condition. It has a tiny scratch (and I mean tiny) but other than that it's NOS condition - looks like it was done in storage.

I can PM you a picture if you want - £8 posted.

Let me know if it's of interest.

Cheers

Rich

Yeah, the lever does need dropping down a touch :LolLolLolLol:

But ref the front brake, im afraid just a rear doesnt do a great job of stopping 14 stones...

OPC is cool, its the original Takagi as used by Steve Bigland on this (actual) bike.  Along with the bars, wheels n tyres, clamp and pedals.  Bits ive added to improve it are the Kashi padded seat, post, pads and brakes.
