I saved for 10 months with a £2 a week paper round prior to. xmas 1981 for this, originaly went to the shop (suntal cycles) to buy a puch murray at £79 but he had sold it the day before, i was gutted, the only bikes left in the shop was this at £150 (nearly twice the puch murrays price) and a pro star, which looked shite... i went home empty handed with no bike...    :'(   can you imagine how a 12year old kid felt......  two days later on xmas day i didnt even want to get out of bed, knowing full well i had no bike... eventually i dragged myself downstairs to find my dad had gone back to the shop and got me this bike... to this day its the single most memorable thing my dad has ever done, and remember it like it was yesterday..... well done dad....  :smitten: :smitten:
