TORKER Advice- How much?

Hi, Would really like a torker from the early eighties, have always liked them. So what would a decent one cost? Has anyone any info on models/timeline etc?? Anyone selling one??? :daumenhoch:

Sam, that is mint, just what Im after, unfortunately don't think my pockets are that deep, or my arms long enough to even ask how much :LolLolLolLol: Cars a bit of a shed though ;D If only ::) Anyone else? Who are the Torker experts then, some models and years would be nice :daumenhoch:

Here's the Pro X - it was their complete bike that took over from the 280X which there 82-83 model. Hard to put a price on Torker's. They don't come up often enough to really gauge, luck of the draw.   I'll dig through my photobucket and see what ad and articles are in there....

There is  a 280x on ebay at the mo,allready at £250.00 ,a bit to steep for me :'(
and its only 5 miles up the road (dam it).

i had a pro x bitd and that came as a f&f, seen one go recently for £250 for f&f

Mark J thanks for the tests and specs appeciated. Been on that one on ebay since listing, (hence this thread on price/model advice), but its getting quite high now so will probably be out of my budget :(  JT just missed the one you sold last year which was a cracker, was gutted :( Have you had a change of heart now and wished you'd kept it? That looked in better nick especially for the money although the one on ebay has tuffs ::) Anyways guys thanks for help etc, anymore models/pis would be nice

i dont have many regrets in life....but thats one of em.

was a totally factory spec bike as well, when i got it...

Right, thanks again for replies Guys ;) Took the bidding to £310 on ebay but to high for me after that, could've took a punt on selling skyways after winning/ Before paying but didn't wanna be cheeky :-[ So i'm now in the market for a Torker frame and forks, what have you got guys?? :daumenhoch:
