when you get an email you can unsubscribe there just click the unsubscribe link

Easy peasy - just go to the topic and press the "NOTIFY" button on the last post of the thread.....

..it will bring up a pop up box and if you are already notified... it will ask you if you want to DISABLE notification.

Confusing really as it would help if threads you ARE already notified of new posts had the button changed to DISABLE NOTIFICATION


Did i get enough of the word NOTIFY in there for you??
