os levers ns brakes

Is there any way I can run os levers with ns u-brakes?

I've got them set up but I don't seem to get enough leverage.

What levers?

What Brakes?

Tech 77's are the daddy and are better than a lot of new school stuff.

i have a set of the matching oddy calipers.

the old school levers should work ok with the ad990. so long as they dont flex too much

I think I'm just destined to have shite brakes.

I've also been looking for a set of pads for my tuffs they're either mega wonga or you can't get them. Apart from the pedals it's finished, went down to the bike shop saturday for a couple of sets of pedal bearings...

(me) - Two sets of loose pedal bearings please

(Shop Assistant) - what size?

(me) - what size?

(Shop Assistant) - yeah there are like six different sizes

(me) - er standard size?

(Shop Assistant) - there is no standard size

(me) - er, the size that fits gt pedals?

(Shop Assistant) - what size would that be

(me) - er, the same size as those ones (points to pair of bulk standard plastic pedals)

(Shop Assistant) - I don't know what size they are

(me) - why not?

(Shop Assistant) - They're inside the pedals

(me) - Ok, so can I just have a set of bearings and I'll take my chance that they fit?

(Shop Assistant) - What size sir?

(me) - You don't sell fork handles do you?

(Shop Assistant) - Fork handles?

(me) - Never mind.

AAAAArrrggghhhhh!!!!!!!
