quick release seat clamp

has any one tried to use a quick release seat clamp bolt in an OS seat clamp?  Theoretically if the quick release bolt fits through the bolt hole in the clamp it should work

Tioga used to make a Quick release Clamp BITD.

They were advertised in the late 80's to 90's

Just that they're are proper OS alternatives if you want a QR seat clamp!!

They pop up on ebay all the time!!  :daumenhoch:

If its a similar design to the one above then it should be okay!!

Some QR skewers have a rounded edge which fit into the clamp area.   Those probably wont work as well because you wont having a rounded edge on your OS BMX Seatclamp that it will fit into.

But if you find a QR skewer that just sits on flat washers like the one below then it'll be alright.

Show us your Seat Clamp!!  :daumenhoch:
