stops the rear wheel from going out of line and keeps chain tension etc
Thought I'd seen something, similar type of idea?http://www.winstanleysbmx.com/product/16018/Simple_Wheel_Slammer
Aren't they already available?Bru
i think once they are fitted nothing can move out of line ,i think thats the answer if they are held in the grove it cant twist.
thats right dude, along similar lines mate
It's the same but in reverse, if I understand the pics correctly, but I'm having a bad day so I could be seeing owt
The washer bit hooks into the rear dropout by the looks of it to me, stopping the wheel traveling forwards,

I get it now!! Its a fixed width chain tensioner! But what happens when your chain stretches a bit (before it eventually snaps)!!Its not exactly adjustable. And if you change your Sprockets then you'd need different widths to get your tension sorted again!!I'd like a drop out tensioner that is adjustable but allows you to line up your wheel in both directions. My Auburn Aluminium Rear end likes to increase the tension when tightened. It makes it hard to line up properly with the right tension.
il take some more pics when im back in my work shop,

im not asking any one to like it, it may not even work as i said in my first post, just trying it if its crap its crap you just dont know unitl you try
sorry alex i wrote that thread before i saw your last one mate no offence intended dude
I've worn flares, does that count!! I like the idea!!Chain tugs are a pain in the arse!!The biggest problem I have with them is that they don't stop the tension being tightened when you tighten the nuts. You think you've got the right tension. You tighten the nuts and oh shit its way too tight coz the fecking wheel has shifted. Great Idea Dibly and allows you to keep the wheel straight!!Dibly get yourself to Coppull on the 29th for the 1st Round of the Summer Series!!
