.............but I'm buggered if I can find it.

Can anyone post a link to a thread explaining the tinfoil method that I've heard people use, along with anything else that would help me restore my newly arrived Laserlite frame without a rechrome. It's in pretty good nick but could do with a couple of hours spent on it before it's built up!

God, it's light compared to my old '81 Piranha!!!

Thanks

Rich

Just got my Kuwahara Laserlite KZ83 frame and Laserbars from Ebay.

They're not in bad nick really, but the forks are NOS so I thought they deserved a good clean up. Wheels/laserpost and stem are on their way Ian on this site, and I've got a few bits and pieces put aside now like chainring, seat clamp, headlock, grips etc.

I'm hoping it will all be ready for the summer as I'm thinking of doing some old school racing. The plan was to turn this into a show bike with a rechrome and everything, but I figure that's a bit of a waste. Depends on how it looks built up - if it's got too many NOS parts on it to complete it, I might buy a Redline or similar to race.

Done that before - had a rider and decided it was too nice so kept it as a showy  :LolLolLolLol:

Roast Beef Monster Munch were the best - didn't they ban them in the end because the flavour caused cancer or something???

Them and Salt n Vinegar Sky Divers rocked!
