Bikes with 1.50 & 1.75 tyres
« on: March 06, 2009, 08:15 PM »
Anyone got any shots of bikes running a 1.75 and a 1.50 (as a fat/thin - or thin/thinner) combo?

Is it a combo that was ever used?

I have a pic of my bike running 1.5's front & back..I used them BITD on twisty tracks as they aided acceleration IMO....I can post apic if you like  :daumenhoch:

im using 1.5's tyres all round on my 1.75 wheels on all my builds cos firstly tioga comp 3's in 1.5 are easier to get hold of and secondly they are cheaper, dont see why a fat thin combo wont work.ive never liked the 1.75/2.25 combo myself, makes the front look like its sporting a rubber ring!!!

Picked up a pair of these in 1.5 & 1.75 for a tenner.  Not nos, but you cant argue with that price and wondered if they would be suitable for my TA.

Gasheads GT pic above has confirmed they will look quality.  :daumenhoch:
