« on: August 08, 2005, 09:59 AM »
i have an old redline mxIII (mx II)
its metallic blue. nice colour. only it looks like it has been dragged along the sea bed for the last 20 years.

can i get it repowdered in metallic blue, or is it spray only job?

What's the best paint or powder, and what sort of money are we talking for each.

i like powder and i pay around 30/40 for frame forks and bars but the colours are a bit limited as i have to use what they have in stock but cheap .they blast clean etc before powder too .sparaying is in my view much better but the cost is a hell of a lot more i was quoted 110.00 for my pk ripper spraying and i had to strip it myself .

i strip and prep the frames  acid etch them then 2 pac prime flat then top coat   70 quid  takes about 5 hours start to  finish   so  praps i should charge more but it means i get to see some cool  frame sets    obviously + postage back if needed  :D  but the colour range is  pretty vast    special types of custom paints would be a bit more  like chromoflair etc
