Hey all , thought i`d show you the latest pics of my Haro project that`s been ongoing ....it`s gone from spokes and cranks off my 06 Sport to Tuffs and Redline Prolines ! Finally i don`t have to rob one bike to ride another !!
Thanks to Baz (quadangle freestyler) for the tuffs , James (jrolla) for the chainring & grips , Will (chuddy) for the tuff pads , James (heywoodbmx )for the cranks and Del for the crank arm decals ..Top men all....almost finshed now , it`s been over a year in the making , what with illness , unemployment and pisspoor paying jobs , but it`s been worth all the saving up and trawling ebay and the rad marketplace. Just some blue SX and a gyro and i reckon it`ll be job`s a good un? what do you lot reckon? Now i can change that seat on the sport eh? Stay Rad one and all , Dave

its snafus version of a london mod, i use a london mod on my sports, they work really well. i use fly brakes and dia compe box brakes as well on the sports.
you can get the dia compe ones with the angled arms for the chainstays from cyclesport (01476 590 550) for 20 quid!
they are really good. I recommend the clear brake pads stodgy does in the rad shop, very very good pads.
the brake on the revo is a dia compe hombre, i use it as the cable pull is straight, the angled arms brakes work better on the sports due to the angle of the cable from the london mod.
heres a pic of my setup, there are more in the museum.
I think youll need some sort of nipple clamp to get the stock sport brake to work but i wouldnt bother, theyre not great and theres better brakes out there for a tenner!
