Sealed Bearings
«

My front wheel bearings have just started squeaking and sound very dry. They are sealed but has anyone had any success with removing the seal and re-greasing? If not does anyone know where I can get replacement bearings (I dont want the hub) and cost?
Cheers

What hub is it
& is it for a rider or a show
Replacement sealed bearings, if brought from a industrial bearing dealer do not cost a lot at all
You could try soaking them in something, but this will only thin out the grease & make it run out in time

Its for a cruiser that I`m racing. The hubs are pretty standard issue and of no fancy pants make. Reckon I`ll take it to an engineers somewhere and they should be able to match the size. Just found some on internet for about a fiver. Need to double check the size.
Cheers
