i have a frame thats a 50/50 against getting a re chrome   but wanted to try to swing that 60/40 
so i can keep it as original as possible
i have tried a few products but still scratched up a fare bit   any others i should try..  dan

yes mate tried the brasso   i might not have spent enough time on it tbh
so maybe need to give it a little more time.
are their any proper producs for such a job.

try mer scratch remover for light scratches

but deeper 1s will be nigh on impossible to polish out

got to be autosol dan , that will give you a fighting chance . i think anything else woul be to abrasive  :-\

On my hutch I used a cutting paste first, i think it was G4, i got for my car to get rid of the swirl marks before waxing it, then i used autosol. came up a treat  :smitten:

  autosol is an abrasive, try brown sauce, seriously...daddies works

Autosol all the way or Marine shine as it's known in spain. I worked 7yrs doing boat valeting and for chrome it's the best there is and on Million pound boats you want your shiney bits very blingy.
