Well i bought that £280 Skyway TA and i pick it up today in Kent. Im sure i can remove most of that rust and polish her up nice. :-\ I wanted an original chrome f+f.

The parts are crap and the wheels are odd in colour but i really cant wait to start work on it.

Didnt buy it for a profit as its gonna be my rider.

It would be great if prices did come down. I believe that too but I also believe that the 'good' stuff is hard to sell too at the mo though.

I have only secured a buyer for the wheels, tyres and bars on my Quad thats in the for sale section. Peeps havent even asked for prices on the other parts and that makes me wonder.

Im glad that Ade agrees with Orgasmdonor with his statement. I may be able to buy his BOTY JMC now cheap as chips. >:D

Polish the life out of it. Fingers crossed it's only grime and surface rust :daumenhoch:

...you can't beat factory chrome TAs.
"Thanks for the Fish Fingers idea... I'm fooking loaded now!!!"

A result Nick but I wouldn't say the arse has dropped out of it, just the beginning of return to sensibility and normality  :daumenhoch:.

Oxalic acid bath and a good scrub is hopefully all that's needed, get some pics up wil ya?  :daumenhoch:

There's bound to be the odd cheapie getting through the net, but good, well maintained bikes will hold their price.  I paid £370 for my complete T/A and there's no way I'd sell it at a loss.
