leave it chrome .... just change the parts , would be a shame to ruin such a good original chrome finish ..

Looks great with blue seat, grips and black tyres.  I say leave it as it is and get yourself a resto project to play with, maybe another GT in black or blue or even a sexy candy apple red  :daumenhoch:

Nice to have a rep of you bike BITD, and agree not enough chrome bikes get done

Heres mine, had it since new in 84, I love it very much  :uglystupid2:

As you can see I like chrome  ::)

Only things changed since I got it out the attic are the grips, Ame mini's same as was on there, & the inner brake cable  :smitten:

think your right, they are difficult to get right....
as its the original chrome, i suppose i had better leave it chrome, will try some chrome ukai's later and a black seat/grips combo, if that dont work, then i wiil strip it and leave it to one side.....thanks

Sam keep it as you had it mate. It great being able to do your bike from bitd. It should be the only bike in your collection that you would never part with.

I dont particularly like my white TA with a framestand on and ez mark 1 bars but that is what i had on my bike and you just have to learn to live with it! :D

Turn the compressor off and step away from the spray gun Sam!  Leave it chrome mate, go paint something else!  Your lounge could do with a lick of paint come to think of it!  Ring me later, I have a set of UKAI's you can have gratis if you dont paint it.  :daumenhoch:
