I looking at it again, if it is the Ammaco Team Sprint its the rare one with the looptail. So good find. Blast it and paint it, I believe Del might have the decals for this. I sold a non-loop tail one a while back. I'll do a search in this Tech section for ya.

This is Simon's one I sold to him, resto coming along nicely. Yours though is the rare looptail version though.

the holes in the gussets look diferent though?  on the chrome one the hole is embosed??  on the rusty frame it's just cut out by the look of it.......not a Stratton cycles frame is it?  :-\

Deffo an Ammaco, but I think this one has had a repair done on the gusset, hence it being slightly different. The weld was a lot thicker on the front of the gusset on the one I sold, so I can only think this one has been fixed up at some point as its missing the embossed part.

I did just what you have done now ,but no one knew . Did get one comment to throw it back where it came from !  :2funny:

Only possible lead was a webco i think ,like i say it was a couple of years ago. Think webco was more usa but do have same flitch on bottom bracket ,have a look in musuem on vbmx maybe some in there ?

Maybe same frame  ::)
