Restore Black Grips

Ok all another poser for you, is it possible to restore black plastic handlebar grips in any way?
Asking because i've seen some nice old grips and want to know if you can restore to their former glory?
Anyone?

P.S they're only scuffed a little and a bit dull thats all.

black boot polish, keep rubbing it in and then buff it until no more black comes of on your rag...
