25 years later.................
« on: February 17, 2009, 10:59 PM »
my first bmx that i got in 84 i love this bike it was no were near a good bike bitd but i wore the thing out, sold it in 92. a few years ago was searching on the net for one and i found one in scotland on gum tree paid £10 for it and went to collect it. when i go my hands on it i noticed it had my old post code stamped in the bb so it was my original bike what were the chances of that?!?! will get some more before and after pics up but its not finished yet still got decals and stuff to do. The wheels on it are red stone mags falcons cheap alternative to skyways they are alloy hubbed but has a cassette hub to boot. They only did a few of them coz they used to warp coming over on the boat from Italy

I find it incredibe that people still have their bikes from BITD, but to re-aquire your old bike is just amazing.  :4_17_5:

I have wondered if my old burner is rotting behind Stefan Brain's dad's shed, but I doubt it.

Is it built to your old spec? or  a mixture of what you had and what you wanted?

Let me know how you get on with the stickers, i'm still waiting to do a set on a Falcon Pro cruiser.
One build a year, the only way to get it right. No rushing involved.
