Billy Stupple
« on: February 15, 2009, 06:04 PM »
That old git Billy Stupple only went and won the regional at Dagenham today folks.  No mean feat when you consider the guys he beat (Phil, Matt and Kev) are all top 5 regional riders and could make national A-finals.

I'm not sure I want to sell Billy a race frame that will make him even faster when he can win a regional on a freestyle cruiser  :yahoo_silent:

 ;)

I really enjoyed it today, but fook me I`m feeling shattered now, I might have to have a little power nap Mike  :daumenhoch:

I'm shattered as well Bill.  I had a power nap on the M25 on the way home.  Was heading for the central reservation at 80mph when I woke up!

Well done today though Bill.  Looking very strong against strong opposition.

keep it lit!

Id like to add it was the most interesting final ive ever been involved in. Lead changed 3 times, and top 3 positions changed on bends 1, 3, 4 & on the last strait run in. Not predictable, and certainly fun to be part of. Nice one to all involved today....

J T Smooth

 :D

This was 40+ cruisers, it`ll be a few years before JT Smooth can race in that  :yahoo_silent:

Thanks everyone, it was bloody hard work but very rewarding, all the motos and final were great races with, like Matt said, lots of overtaking and changing of places, and nobody fell off either  :daumenhoch:

Well done Bill, You rode really well today.

A big well done to QuadPaul as well, he rode extremely well and showed that us oldschoolers can mix it up well in 30-39 Cruisers.  :daumenhoch:

All that gym training finally paying off.  And the important thing today was that Billy and his bike didn't part company, like they usually do.  Still some styling it up over the jumps but a bit less of the gungho approach and the results spoke for themself.  Well done Billy.  Humps
