Sunday session at Rom
« on: February 06, 2006, 03:38 AM »
Sorry about this one chaps, its a bit of an ego-trip....  Many thanks to Meddle for the camerawork.  :daumenhoch:

So obviously, it's mostly me..; but look out for Annoying Ian being chased by yours truly in the moguls, Billstupp getting a gentle nudge (also from yours truly) and Gordy's huge Performance Bowl airs - be sure to watch carefully for limbs-off action  8)

This was shot back in May 05, and is amongst the first footage i have. I'd not done the final trick on this vid for several years and it stands as a fine example of Kodak Courage and me loosing my temper....  ;D ;D ;D

Nice vid Rob, I haven`t got the hang of adding music to mine yet  :(
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

that music was in his head!! It somehow transferred to the tape!!  :LolLolLolLol:

Would have been nice to have seen some footage of Rob though!  :P

Pretty nimble for a big fella! ;)

The DT's weren't playing up that day hence the shaky-cam not being in attendance.

Very impressive Rob,loved the one handed coaster wheelie and the one handed xup ramp stall(dont know if you still call them by the old school names.)  :D
Think i'll be trying them soon, might need a few tips off you though mate. :daumenhoch:

Yeah mate, thats exactly what I'd call those tricks  ;)

Although the rampstall would be called a blunt or an abubaca if it were onto coping on top of a ramp with a little hop..  :)

Great riding Rob :daumenhoch:

But, correct me if my memory fails me, but I seem to remember you posting a while back about the importance of buying a really decent helmet ???

Do as he says not as he does. ;)

I believe that Rob's way of thinking is that you use whatever makes you feel happy, but that if you are going to use something then make sure it can do the job.

Tricky,  you are of course, correct.

And Meddle, you are of course also correct  ;)

I do have reasons for my actions which i fancy might be a decent topic for a thread in random, so I'll see you there!   ;) :)
