PEREGRINE CRANK HELP!
« on: February 13, 2009, 06:27 PM »
Hello all. I need your help pls.

I've got a minty chrome peregrine crank but the cups and bolts are knackered (the anlun ones). Someone must have been a bit rough with the old spanner. I want to replace them with an alternative as getting the right cups nowadays will be impossible. This is for a show pony and won't be ridden by the way so I just need something that'll take the spindle.

Will the spindle of the peregrine crank fit in the redline cups, the sealed bearing ones? If I could get confirmation that they do, I'll buy a set and then I can finish building up my Haro.

Please help as want to get this build done asap.

Matt  :)

I've got some redline cups that you can borrow to try. If you want send a PM and will get them out of the cupboard and give them to Cazbo :daumenhoch:

Hi mate

I can take the RL spindle of my TA if you want and send it to you, so you can try it. The only thing is i will need it back as i have not got anything to replace it with but at least you can see if it fits. LMK  :daumenhoch:

The Peregrine spindle has different pattern, but might be worth a try

This is my peregrine spindle photographed from above. Any similarities lads with your own spindle/bottom bracket kits? This is the only thing holding back my Gen 1 build. Need a replacement bb cups to fit this peregrine spindle badly!  :-\

Stuntmaster is dead right.

They definitely take a standard one piece cranks bottom bracket.
