Eddie  do you remember coming to the UK for the kelloggs competition and saying to customs that you were a trash can collector instead of a BMX'er? :LolLolLolLol:

Steve macky- I think you've got some pics of Edde when he was at Silloth. I missed that day. what a bummer.

Mods- how about we PM questions to someone doing the interview who can the pick the best ones?

i think , if i remember was this said at birmingham wheels? it was the other way round? eddie got stopped cause when the customs bloke asked' what u do for a living' eddie replied ' im a bmx'er' and the guy stopped him, but when he asked, erm was it bob morales, the same question he said' im a trash collector' then eddie said, 'well they let him right on through'! i may be completely wrong on this as many a thousand gallons of the frothy stuff has been consumed since! :daumenhoch:

no. your dead right. i got it wrong..

What was the deal with parts that you used? ---------------------------------?
Did you have to use particular components or was it your choice?--------- It used to be my choice until GT made everything.
What was your favourite performer and components?------------------------ 1 3/8s KOS bike
Where were the bikes kept?-------------------------------------------------------- most of them i kept under my bed  ( an old BMX PLUS has a Pic. of this )
Why did you like SE bikes?  Na i love them too.--------------------------------- COOL
Did you ever get other offers from other bike companies?--------------------  YES   Greed is a bad thing!
Got any old race wear left?---------------------------------------------------------  sorry no.     Got an old 1985 Honda CR-X  JDM for sale.

THANKS for taking off my training wheels

Eddie, Can you tell us how being able to air both ways came about please, as you will know this was very unusual in the 80's.

Eddie, What happened to all your old bikes, especially the classics like the 84 and 85 Kelloggs GTs.#
Did you give them away, are they in a collection or like most our bikes just got thrown away?

I'm curious about the airing both ways bit, very unusual in the 80's.

I've said it before about the video of Mike Dominguez doing an opposite one hand one footer in the KOS when he's wearing black jeans and a blue and black checked shirt. I took me ages to notice this but when I did I was blown away, SO SO unsual back then. I don't remember anyone else doing it until the very late 80's even early 90's.

I still the 1 3/8 frame  and two other gt frames.  As for the rest,  give them away and  just got thrown away.

eddie

was there any prototype performers ? i have seen bob morales on one without a coaster anchor, he was using a dia compe seatclamp as a coaster mount.

did the flying banana yellow performer get taken back to the states after the 84 tour or did it stay here.

when you gonna come back over here.
