cw on e-bay , did anyone on here buy ?

spotted this one yesterday and put in a buy it now offer . it was on a fiver with  1 bid, but its sold now . just wondered if anyone on here got lucky?

does anyone know what model and  the value ish ? has it got dia-compe brakes.
he said someone had already offered £70.00 .

im guessing someone got a bargain    judgeing buy the bike and the bits on it , the brakes will be dia compes and not copys,they look good.

hard to see the frame number.....possibly a  cw zx ?

ive just had a reply back from the seller who said it went for just over £100.00 , he had alot of interest in last 24 hrs and didnt know what the bike was worth.
so yeah , some did get a bargain !

i spotted that one too,asked him if he would post it and if he would end it early.
obviously didnt  know what he had and told me someone had offered £70 so was going to better it tonight.

Couldnt hide it any longer. 

I always hunt ebay using the strangest of titles and it came up.

Someone did offer £70 for it so it was spotted before me. I paid £90 plus £25 postage.

I want a rider for the summer and this will do the trick. Ive got a thing for the early CW's. The yanks love them but they dont seem to be desirable over here.

Cant figure what model it is until i read the serial.

Not sure the wheels are much. Not sure what seat it is too. Look like DB bars.

Shall arrive tomorrow so i will post up pics.

                 i spotted it early but like you say someone offered 70.00 so i was still considering a higher offer and checkin out courier services.  Then the next time i looked it VANISHED with out a trace , as if by magic !

Its a ruthless system ebay. Ive lost out many a time on stuff where the seller has ended early. I have even ended early myself.

Fair play to the lad who sold it though, as he told me after i paypal'ed him,  that alot of people were messaging him asking to end it early.

He even looked into CW on the net as someone had gave him the nod as to what it was. Glad that he saw the deal through.

Still......it hasnt arrived yet!

Just got it.

Serial ZS685. Its a ZS Expert 1981. Little bit of chrome flaking near a rear drop but it should polish a treat. Got DB bars, dia compe mx1000 with tech3's , suntour stem, viscount aero seat and a 1 piece that says cro-mo only on the end of the arm. And also some minty MKS Grafites.

Rims are to be thrown. Just generic crap with reflectors in.

Well chuffed. Cant wait to strip her down and polish her up.
