« on: February 08, 2009, 10:45 AM »
right got third gen holmesw inch threaded with brake lugs and ditchforks and im gonna rebuild it and race it in old school series.
so far i got slam bars,s&m redneck stem, redline cranks, posi stop seat clamp, pitbull brake, standard old school powerdisc and chainring, araya aero wheelset ,sraight chrome seat post, now i was considering buying s&m seat off ebay with the shield pic on top but they are quite expensive(so might put it on me next gen s&m dirt park bike) and also they dont look right for race ie too chunky, what seat would be good for this instead please.alos not sure what grips i should use era correct but good and confy .

Greg, your Holmes sounds great, but the only frame with brake lugs that is oldschool race legal is the Haro Group One, as they came out with AD mounts around 1987.  Maybe you should post in the Oldschool Race Series section to get a bit of feedback from the other racers. :-\

See you at Hartlepool Greg when you get disqualified on a Technicality!!

Make sure you race your lugged wonder machine at Leeds too!!

I might beat you after all Greg!!  :LolLolLolLol:

If you haven't got another OS Racer available then use it.   Northern lads wont mind the odd race!!  But dont fookin win coz you'll get the crap kick outta ya!!  :daumenhoch:
