Skyway TA my 87' Worlds replica. Built it to the spec of the bike I rode at the Tizer Worlds.

I built the bike pretty much from memory of parts I remember using around that time. Bars are Haro knee saver mk1's . My bikes changed on a weekly basis parts wise mainly cos things broke so often. I wanted the replica to look half decent hence the Black nd Chrome scheme. Think you'll agree that thing In the pics Gary posted is one ugly looking bike...Oh and no I wont be sporting a pair of those T&C board shorts on the bikes first outing

There's a lot of serious moves in that run, smooth riding too. Nice one, havn't seen that since bitd.

Hey Mark,
that run isnt the actual Worlds run. I have that on VHS. Ramp run only. This was a scammy BMX Beat run which they conned us into riding after the finals Purely for the benefit of the cameras. Hence it has some flatland stuff....I didnt really care that much at that point in the day as Id won the Pro ramps and was fkn knackered too. We'd all been competing everyday for a week by then. Anyways I bet Ruffel made plenty from it so happy days eh...... $:-\$

Watched your run and Andy Reardon's and I don't think any of us were at our best on that TV special thing - my run sucked - kept messin' up, but managed to stay on most of the time!
I would love to see some of our actual comp. runs.
Pepi had some stuff from that year, but never managed to meet up with him again (in time) to see it.
Damn shame....

P.s., I think biggeorge WAS talikn' about the tv special comp by the way.

Don't know if they filmed the Pro runs for the individual titles, but would be great to see!

I think dennys got some footage of the other venues, gloucester i think, I have seen pepi and daves runs somewhere on the interweb. was a mad week thats for sure, think everyone toned there runs down for the tv.

Ive got loads of footage from the Final runs in Calisle but its all on VHS. I need to get it copied over to digital but I suck at getting around to sorting it out. Im going to dig it out tonight and try and figure out the next move. Loads of Hoffman on there during practice etc. Sure your runs will be there too Gary. Will let you know later on
