Mad Scooter Air!
« on: February 03, 2009, 11:42 AM »
I've just pinched this off Tod Anderson's facebook page so I hope he doesn't mind.

I reckon this has got to be THE highest air I've seen on an old school scooter! I've seen a few good ones, a nice one of Lee Reynolds doing a can can on a scooter at the Enchanted ramp which was about 4 foot out!

But how the fook do you do a SEVEN foot air on a scooter, it's just mental

I also never knew how vert that ramp was that them guys used to ride.

Daz.  :daumenhoch:

Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an 'orrible cnut... ME!

:) When scooters were scooters! Take it that`s prob a Ninja thingy-didn`t a few BMX companies make them in the `80s? A guy called Mark Scott had one BITD with a forklifter stem/Action Zone bars, used to do mad airs/rail slides at Harrow halfpipe...

CC came down our ramp in Rochford in '88 on one, remember him doing disasters and a few airs, nothing like that pic though. Tyres kept coming off the mags on ours, spokes would've been better.
