o yes there was a demo team for the rubbish bike freeway,we were before with scorpion and then halfords
killed that lot of as they always do .but i have just dug these out of the loft still silky smooth
and that is my 14 year old modeling them ,cant fit myself into them.anyway thought you deserved a laughsorry about pic quality phone cam.

Now then, now then, there's nowt wrong with a freeway, some of us didn't have a choice what bike we had and if my memory serves me right they got quite a good review in one of the mags.

a friend of mine had a freeway
it snapped at the headtube, very easily

it is up there in the top 5 worst bmxs ever made

they were really heavy too.

i guess owt is better than nowt though.

my first frame did, pile of sh1te so it got sent back by the bmx shop, new frame arrived, had straight downtube and a gusset, strong as.

no kidding, that bike took a bashing, rode it for about 6 years, used it for river jumping once and I aint a skinny bloke neither. It also came back with a pearlescent finish.

ha you all there was one plus getting sponsored by even scorpion and freeway in the mid 80's
o yes it was picked up by o yes halfords and you laugh they let us have flight cranks redline of course
skyways  and so on ,so there was 1 good thing about freeway.

They were quite heavy and mine eventually gave way at the seat tube where it met the toptube gusset. In all honesty it was shit, but I loved it all the same (beggars can't be choosers and all that) :daumenhoch:
