Haha, thx dude. That was my first mag pic ever. Meanwhile 2 circa 85'. Did every variation I could think of at 2-3 ft and landed at the bottom. Glad you found it

Aha! Found May '88, which has Spike in it, but the Crawley ramp Jam is in March '88....

lol...How about 87 maybe? In the Noble's magazine? We called the contest Invert and that soon became their mag's name but at the time I think it was still Freestyle BMX or something. It may have been early 88.

This Chingford comp looks like it was amazing. I wish I'd been there! Funny to see Simon tied with Tim Ruck for 4th in the B group! Greg and Jason have a special place in my heart... great to see the battling it out.
