« on: January 22, 2009, 06:57 PM »
just went for a ride on my hoffman flash pro xl (apr 21 1/2"tt) and then on my mankind asadi 20.8tt and im seriosley woried im goin to be racing the wrong frame size and making things harder for myself as the mankind felt allot easyer to manouver over the flash.

another thing im confused about is what size in race terms is a 20.8tt(pro length?)

  What`s the headangle on the Mankind? A lot of newer type freestyle frames with a 20.8 toptube ride more like a 20.5 because of the steeper headangle.Also is the Hoffman actually that long? Maybe one of our resident Hoffman experts can confirm?

20.5=pro
21 pro xl
21.25+pro xxl
   Sizes vary between diff manufacturers but this is pretty close...

center head tube to center seat tube is around 21+ and is def a pro xl model

i think i need to have a go on a pro model and see how it spins.

unsure on the headtube angle but will have a look

Ok  ;D

A 20.5" frame with 8" bars and a good size stem would be ideal for racing.

I'm 5'11" and I ride a 20.5"

Airing on the small side is better in racing.

If you're 5'8" a Pro size around 20.5" - 21" frame should be a good fit.
