help to organise and run 4 novice nights. and make sure everyone has fun and doesn't feel it's a waste of time. let's learn

help friends and other novices to achieve their goals,  and encourage and offer advice from my limited experience

have a great time on the snow with twobobrob. my last two years snowboarding with skiers haven't been much fun (i know that's not bmx related but without bmx i would know Rob)

disasters

smith in and smith stall

clear a jump box at corby, don't mind which one, after a step up.

the big step up

volcano air the little one at corby (think i've managed an inch or so before) and the metal one in banbury.

spine - in banbury park there's two minis with a spine in between i wanna go Stall, over spine, stall, grind spine back to stall, over spine, smith stall

maybe I'm setting my sights high, but hey you have to have some ideas.

ride more, eat less, be a better person

mine is to get out on the mini ramp again,i used to spend upto 4 hours a day on one then disaster
took up building bikes to compensate but am now feeling its time to push on and hit the ramp again .
got to invest in more pads, i cant afford to slam that hard.
getting dialled into one bike again is gonna take time, my riding muscles need attention mainly upper.

I got quite fit by Christmas 2007 by jogging and road cycling then stopped when the weather got shite and I couldn't train after work.  I got into BMX racing in April 08 and although I was slow, I could easily get around the track without being too knackered.   I then fooked myself up in May and haven't done any training since.   I think apart from the OS Races, I have only been to a track for a practice maybe 3-4 times and haven't ridden my BMX at homel!!  :(

So now I'm back in full training!!  :)

So this year my aim is to get fit, stay fit and ride more!

I need to build my confidence up too as I've lost my bottle when I fooked myself up.

So more time on the bike to lift my skill level from truly awful to maybe average.

I need more track time too so I can give Greg a good whupping!!  :LolLolLolLol:

So my main goal is not to fook myself up again!!!  :-\

Where do I start....

Wasn't top of my list until Corby this week but would love to get Disasters in the Bowl at Corby (and anywhere else) just because I am so close to it

Peg stalls and grinds

Smith stalls and grinds

Tyre taps

Manuals

But the ones that would really be the icing on the cake this year as I see them as quite a personal challenge is to air above coping and air spines / volcanos so I can clear them confidently.

Here's to everyone getting some progression this year, Cheers!  :daumenhoch:

Come higher than last in at least one 30-39 crusier class race..... :-\

Clear the coping (AIR !!!!!) at Devonshire Green Park in Sheffield.........

Make it to the Old fools Southsea leg of the tour.....  :daumenhoch:
I might actually build a bike this year instead of just hoarding parts :)

I want to be able to jump any set on a race track that the top guys within my peers can.

I want to get fitter.

And i want to be able to manual over at least three whoops (what an old fashioned word).

 :)

I started a thread like this last year

Do a 2 foot air on a quarter and air the performance at rOm
Go over a Spine, looking forward to Skaterham on the 19th.
Peg stall anything
Tailtaps

Some not so obtainable, Jump a car, anyone got a Suzuki Cappacino I can borrow
And jump over some water like a stream, Have got a spot in mind in Ilford in Southpark; Not a big jump only about 6-8 feet but something I always wanted to do

Managed going over a spine, peg stalls and some tyre taps, then busted my arms so went backwards abit.
This year would like to pop out of Skaterham vert and rOm performance. Was at Skaterham last night and tried Fufanu's for the 1st time and managed to get one on the coping of the 4 foot high section ;D ;D ;D
Would still like to do 2 foot air anywhere.
Started to think about the car and stream again this year. :idiot2:
