no seriously guys i just saw this topic on well lets say a rival bmx site..
lets put it this way i would have plated it a hell of a lot cheaper but hey good luck to the old boy i say

Tacky or not, the shine and glare on film for dvd / video etc as the bike is captured........or from a distance as a spectator as the bike does its stuff will be something unique......

Reminds me of old times and a good friends atc 250 r with plated everything.........it did look good flying through the air....

Personally money no object i'd want a platinum machine (duller than silver, no polishing required and a great colour)........with diamonds (for the sparkle) inserted on headset, crank, and a few other obscure places (such as under bb) - smart and different but not a stand out that says look at me.....

They were quite a few riders who scammed a living from riding, but they were shit too, they just new how to pose for a good photo for the magazines
