Bullseye rear hub help.
« on: January 15, 2009, 09:10 PM »
A bit of advice if possible. I've just taken my new Bullseye's in to get laced up and the bike shop has called me to say that due to the drive side flange being about 1mm thicker he needs to either drill out the spoke holes on that side so he can properly seat the spokes or get different spokes in???? I've had Bullseyes built before and never come across this. Any advice would be much appreciated before my hubs get drilled to fook. Thanks guys, Mark

ive just had a pair built up with new bullseyes and my shop (online bikes, buckhurst hill, essex) never had a problem.  they used DT Swiss spokes.

maybe get a second opinion BUT dont let them drill your hubs - cant imagine what could happen if they weaken.....

Spokes can be a tight fit in Bullseyes but NO DRILLING is needed, tell them to get Ashai spokes from Hotwheels, I know they have 184mm stainless in stock or DT swiss competition.
