Crooch. Where you doing XC race? Is it the Gorrick at Yately Heath Wood this Sunday? If so I may see you there. Not racing but will take the Freeride Bike for a couple fo flat out practice laps to build a bit more strength. My XC bike fork seals have blown, so cant ride that.....

James and I hooked up with Mike and Spillers today at Chicky for a bit of riding. Damp but the 4X track was riding well as were the tabletops and middle line of the dirt jumps (so James told me). It wasn't even particularly cold in the woods so clothes were shed as the day wore on. Some great exercise too, if only pushing the bike up the hills. We tried a couple of the downhill runs on the far side too though I rode them cautiously whilst James and Spillers went down much faster hitting the jumps en route. A £5 day ticket at Chicksands really is a good way of spending a winter's day and it's not surprising it's quite popular. And the Thai food wagon serves up the most delicious chicken with noodles and spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce making the trip worth it just to sample them!! Here's to the next sortee into Bedford - who's calling it?? Humps

Yep gotta say I'm loving that place,it has a bit of everything there and makes you work damn hard riding everything me and mr wong wore ourselves out spending about 3 hrs jumping the trails......and as for the noodles and chicken yuuuuummmmy

no wasnt racing just riding... did the pilgrims way down in Kent. Riding Epping this saturday if anyone fancies it.
