Rear wheel is out of true

Is this something that I can fix myself or is it best to get a shop to do it?

Easy to do yourself if you take your time.  Get a 14g spoke key and tighten up your brakes until the wheel catches on the brake block as it rotates.  Where it catches tighten  the spoke (clockwise) on the opposite side by a quarter of a turn and then do the same to the spokes on the left and right of the spoke you have tighten BUT they must be on the same side.  This will pull the rim away from the brake block, spin the wheel and repeat until the rim stops catching on the rim, then move onto the next buckle.  NOTE sometimes you have to loosen spokes on the opposite side of the rim to remove the buckle and then tighten the other side to tension the rim  :daumenhoch:.

Have a go yourself first, it's good for a laugh   ;D

You really dont need to go twisting the fcuk out of the spokes though; often a 1/8 or 1/4 turn is enough   ;)

Take your time and remember what Marty has said, you'll be reet   :daumenhoch:
