Lee Shurey - I also got my Freestyler from Surrey Skates, but in '83  (I think).  It deffo had a serial number.....

there was lots of haro fakes in surrey bitd as i know where they came from ie who sold them , i should have bought one years ago as might be no 3  ;D

Who was that Paul? Interesting.....

i`m going to check out if they have any before i give out details and not local anyway

Not wishing to get involved in the slanging match, but...

I can accept that there may be varying designs and permutations during the pre production phase, however, these frames were produced by Torker and were a variation on an existing Torker design. Now bearing in mind that the Torker 280 had a machined head tube and both the seat post plate and the plate in the middle of the top tubes were always welded in the middle of the tubes and not the top and the seat post never extended that far above the top tubes, to me is a dead give away that its not genuine.

Sorry but back in the day there were a lot of taiwanese frames that were good copies, but the tell tale signs were always the extended seat post, the non machined head tube and the top tube plates welded on the top of the tubes.

I hope that you are all happy now   ::)  that i have listed it as a "1980s freestyler frame" i see that no body has phoned me.what a surprise the small minded  hideing behind your PCs  :-* .Whats going to happen now? now there is nothing interesting to talk about,a small number of you you might have to go out and find a LIFE  instead of being sad little ebay police   :police:  (You know who i am talking about).
