It cracked me up when I first showed up at Brandon.  The kids didn't believe I had been racing for over 12 years.  I wasn't THAT old but I was still terrified was terrified at first of talking to you guys lest your parent's thought I was some kind of pervert..:)

Being a surfat rat i was always wearing my Jimmy Zs and/or Quicksilver gear and I probably stuck out like crazy

I still have one of the trophies I giot there too somewhere in storage

ooooooo looky my name,i am not even sure i finished that season as i went on the road but still eneded up with a trophy .
tim gregory came over from norwich on the train so we could do jumps ,pracice and have a good giggle
i still see him from time to time a great lad.

It appears that my results were worse than I remember  :(

In later years Tim had an orange powdered Hutch pro, coolest lookin bike ever in my opinion.

i dont think i ever bar once lost a race at brandon   the 1 was on the last berm kevin sykes ran into my back wheel and the chain snapped  lol

Another thing I remember is telling the kids that I had about 500-600 trophies at the time.  They didn't believe me but I tried to explain that that was only about 40 trophies a year and  that included hacks, 20" and sometimes cruiser and that was racing anywhere from 3 to 5 times a week.  In other words, not very many after almost 15 years of racing
