Alluminium vs Cromo

Thinking about getting that TNT thats for sale, but then also considering a PK ripper with landing gear forks.
The question is, which frame is stiffer?  I assume the cromo would be, but Id think the landing gear forks would be stronger than the TNT forks?
Decisions...

My ripper in 84/85 seemed to pick up dings just looking at it,specially on the drop outs and a wearing with chain rub on the rear triangle that looked pretty nasty after a while,so never had an alloy frame since..would love a gold race inc though with blue parts,it's on my little list of things to do :)

The TNT is shit hot!!

Plus its mid school bmx!!

It will be a lot stronger, longer and is still OS legal!!

Bren ridden it a few times in the OS!!

Its a great F+F!!

Make your mind up quick because I'm tempted to buy it!!

If you want to race OS then it will suit you fine!!

I want a PK Ripper F+F too but I want to ride it and 19.5" TT are too sketchy for me!!

Although a 20ft TT would be probably be sketchy for me too, especially the way I ride!!!  :LolLolLolLol:

Moley is spot-on.

I had a 19.5" PK OS race bike and although it jumped and manualled nicely, I couldn't keep it in a straight line down the start hill.

If I didn't already have an S&M Challenger as my OS race bike (and I raced OS more), I'd grab that TNT quick sharp!

IMO, i'd have the TNT. its more of a unusual and not as much seen bike and i think the TT is way longer than a PK. :daumenhoch:

Dont think about it Glen, just buy it!!

I might not be able to hold out until you make your mind up!!!

The last thing I need is another F+F!!

And if I buy it, I'll have to buy loads of TNT components too!!

So buy it and save me some money!!  :LolLolLolLol:
