Reconditioning the rim of a wheel.

Ive got a pair of Gold Arays with brake rub all on the rim. I want to basically turn them into shinesides. Whats the best way please?

i am in the process of doing this on a set of weinmanns, and the wet and dry route works but takes for ever , using a dremmel on the 2nd wheel......

get yourself a polishing motor,it will save you hours and you can get a finish like this 8)

get a good bench grinder and some good mops for it, jobs a good one. You'll need a sisal mop for getting it clean and old anno off and a calico mop for buffing. and some good soap fine and coarse and a bit of fat for proper buffing your ally stuff. you need to put compound on to get compound off.(that will make sense once you gve it a go)
