I bought my Auburn with 1" forks and 1" Threaded Headset!!

The forks were not Auburn ones!!

I replaced the 1" headset it came with for a normal 1" headset but I couldn't replace the cups because the headtube was oversized and so were the cups!!!

A few frames from the early to mid 90's were oversized to accomodate both 1" and 1 1/8" headsets!!

If these do the job then I can replace my cups which are worn!!

I've just bought some 1" Suspension forks though!!

what forks ya got dude? my last 2 builds both gonna have answer pro forx, nice for jumping but gonna take some gettin used too, youl know what i mean when ya ride em

They're a used pair of 1993 Answer Pro Forks (1" threaded) with one of the plastic end caps missing!! I've tried compressing the fookers and even my weight advantage can't shift them. So hopefully they wont be too springy when they're stuck on a rider!!

I dont know what I'm going to use them on yet!!

I wanted to get a pair with the red anodised coloured bottom ends but these are all chrome/silver and they're without stickers!!

But I fancy a go on them!!

It should help me to improve my faceplants!!

i had a go of mine on the hawk and if ya clip the top of something that would normally send you over the bars they absorb it and ya don't
